Why You Should Hire A Coach
After continually witnessing a common misconception that there is a one-size-fits-all answer to taking care of our bodies, I wanted to weigh in! Throughout the last 9 years of working with athletes and clients of all shapes and sizes, I have a simple recommendation for those out there that are feeling helpless, hopeless, and anywhere in between.
Rather than jumping in on a supplement, popular workout program, or diet let’s redirect that money towards the opportunity to hire a coach or invest in education. By seeking an opportunity to UNDERSTAND, experience, and build a relationship with an educator/coach you trust you will take control of your own life and also gain the ability to help others. The health industry, and many others for that fact, rely on you making quick and emotional decisions. This is why you see advertisements every day claiming to help you progress or achieve your goals "quickly." Inherently most of us know this likely isn't true it's naturally alluring, to say the least. I have frequently met individuals that had ended up spending MORE MONEY on false hopes and claims than they would have to hire a coach! The truth of the matter is consistency and direction are likely the two things you are missing out on, and to be frank, neither of these are quick.
There's never been a more appealing time to take your health seriously. Although I won't dive into the stats and numbers due to variances; it is very clear that obesity, nutrition, and a lack of physical exercise are major contributing factors to severe illness and experiences with Covid-19.
HansenAthletic’s was carefully designed with a coach-centric culture at the forefront of our experience allowing for relationships to be built that would influence our members beyond getting “a good workout.” Our coaches themselves invest heavily in education and individual coaching to provide them opportunities to improve their leadership and skill in the field of strength and conditioning.
Take that same approach. Reframe from “it’s expensive” to “it’s necessary” and start from there. Odds are if you tallied up the receipts from the last 3 years spent on false promises, quick fixes, and a pre-built solution… you might actually save some $$$.
